Pattern Making
From the design, provided by an engineer or designer, a craftsperson called a patternmaker produces a master of the object to be produced, using wood, plaster or plastic. -> More about Pattern Making
Sand Moulding
A multi-part moulding box is prepared to receive the pattern and are filled with moist sand. Moulding boxes are made in segments that may be latched to each other.-> More about Sand Moulding
Casting
Molten metal is poured into the mould and allowed to cool. The mould is broken apart ant the cast metal is sent for finishing.-> more about Casting
Finishing
